Flight goes at 7am from Manado. On Lembeh that means get up at 4am. Short Boatride to Sulawesi and the usual minivan madness to Airport Manado before the sun even goes up.
But wait, I forgot a nice foto from last nightdive:
Everybody else flies Garuda, I have a Wing ticket.
The difference? Garuda flies
directly to Sorong, Wings takes a detour via Waisai, northern Raja Ampat, let some passengers out, get some passengers in. More like a bus connection.

Consequently, I arrive an hour later than the rest, we meet at the Swiss belHotel Sorong, a five star venue inmidst a slum quarter in this dirty harbour town.
After greeting new participants who didn't join for Lembeh but went directly to Sorong, we leave for a T-shirt shop and then some beers at the waterfront.
