Thank you for everything

Hanging out at the Swiss BelHotel Pool together until 1 pm. Leaving for the airport with Angie. She flies to Makassar, too, stays there for a couple of days for more diving. I change flight to Bali in Makassar.

21.5., 5pm local time. Makassar Airport Sultan Hasanuddin. First time alone again after 10 days. So quiet...
This was a great dive adventure, with lots of fun, awesome underwater landscapes, healthy corals, very sympathetic company, guests and crew,  and almost no plastic debris.

I have a dry saftey stop at Makassar airport...

and fly off to Bali

Not knowing Bali, I chose Kuta for my overnight stay. BANG! cultural shock. Noisy, Neon lights, music on the street, restaurants, bars, hotels, restaurants.

I don't feel ready for that after 8 days on a ship in truely remote locations. Glad I booked one night only and I'm heading for a small island with bicycles and horse carriages...
